Abstract
The first geologic and hydrogeologic description of Rambla de Castro (Los Realejos, Tenerife), as well as of the carbonatic deposits and fossil plant imprints occurring in the area is presented. Leaves, fruits, seeds, branches and roots remains belonging to Phoenix sp., Persea indica (L.) C. K. Spreng. and Salix sp. are identified, along with possible imprints from Laurus novocanariensis Rivas-Mart., Lousã, Fern. Prieto, E. Días, J.C. Costa & C. Aguiar. Besides, features of several unidentified monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous remains are described.
