Abstract

The evolution of tourism communication since the first cases of coronavirus were reported in Spain, until the confinement of the population, constitutes an extremely interesting object of study. As the scale of events was understood, the communication of the organizations went from a tone of blind calm and unconcern to a responsible and mature attitude. The constant scrutiny of the public to which the organizations are currently subjected, obliges them to undertake communication actions based on responsibility and transparency, as the only way to guarantee their credibility and forge a relationship of trust with their external and internal audiences.
