Abstract

Total and free morphine have been determined spectrofluorimetrically in a group of heroin addicts coming to the Addicts Help Center for detoxification treatment. It is shown that morphine concentration in unne diminishes with time since the last intake, increases slightly with age and addiction years, and also the higher efficiency of the ¡ntravenous route. The correlation study carried out shows the mutual ¡nfluence of both total andfree morphine concentrations andwith time elapsed from the last intake
