Abstract

Dynamic Geometry Systems (DGS) are considered lately as a useful tool for teaching and learning Mathematics in Secondary Schools. It is clear that the traditional curriculum of Mathematics must be approximate in terms of the potentialities, affordances and constraints arising from the use of the digital tools, as well as the type of activities or tasks that are designed. A task that requires to reconstruct a figure from their geometric representation is presented in this paper and different activities and properties that arise from its own resolution are discussed.
