Resumo
In this paper we present a teacher training experience, carried out with future early childhood education teachers, and with focus on addition and subtraction problem solving. The main objective of the experience was to offer future teachers opportunities to connect what they have learned in the subject of Didactics of Mathematics in Early Childhood Education (DM), with their first teaching practices subject (Practicum I), completed in the same semester. During the DM subject, futures teachers created videos posing four additive problems and explaining children how to solve them. Subsequently, they experimented these problems with a group of kindergarten children. Finally, in the seminars of the Practicum I subject, they discussed and reflected about the achievements and difficulties of their problem-solving proposal. We present the connections established by the future teachers between what was learned in both subjects and some conclusions of the process followed.
