Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Geography and History of the University of La Laguna since November 2023 and for nearly seven years at the Universität Leipzig (Germany). He is a member of the research group "City, politics and society" since 2007 and more recently he is a collaborator in the group "Geography and gender" at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His main line of research is the production of urban space and city government policies, studying their effects on public open spaces and housing. His work has addressed some of these processes in the Canary Islands, Southern Europe, Central Europe and Latin America. He has carried out research stays and taught at several Spanish universities (Universitat de les Illes Balears, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Universidad de La Laguna), German universities (Christian-Albrecht-Universität zu Kiel, Universität Leipzig, Technische Universität Dresden, Universität Bayreuth) and the Austrian Paris-Lodron-Universität Salzburg.
