PhD in Social Anthropology, University Professor at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife) in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, as well as Director of the University Institute of Social Research and Tourism. He is founder and director of PASOS. Revista de Turismo y Patrimonio Cultural, an international and multidisciplinary e-journal (www.pasosonline.org - ISSN 1695-7121).
