PhD in Sociology with international mention from the ULL (2022), Master's Degree in Participatory Planning from the Complutense University of Madrid (2010), Master's Degree in Agroecology, Rural Development and Agrotourism from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (2011). Degree in Sociology from the University of La Laguna (2004). She also holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of La Laguna (2002) and a diploma in Social Work from the University of La Laguna (1999). She began her teaching career at the University of La Laguna in September 2010. Her teaching is linked to the Faculty of Education and, specifically, to the field of sociology of education. During this period she has directed twenty-five Final Degree Projects distributed between the Degree in Pedagogy and the Degree in Primary Education. She is currently coordinating an Educational Innovation and Transfer Project (call of the University of La Laguna) to be developed between the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 entitled ‘Hybridizing projects, discoveries and ODS from the place to improve the teaching-learning experience’. Her research career is closely linked to her work as a sociology professional. She has extensive experience in the design and implementation of sociological research from structural analysis (qualitative) and dialectical (participatory) perspectives. He has presented several papers at conferences related to rural, environmental and sports sociology. His scientific transfer and dissemination activities are related to ageing, rurality and food. She is currently a member of the Centre for University Studies on Social Inequality and Governance of the University of La Laguna and of the research group Socio-educational management with a gender and intercultural approach (GIS) of the Institute for Scientific Research and Development of Technologies of the Peninsula de Santa Elena State University (Ecuador). She is the director of the journal Atlántida linked to the Publications Service of the University of La Laguna.
