Doctor by the Universidad de La Laguna with the thesis Estudio de los bivalvos (Mollusca, Bivalvia) del Neógeno de Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura y Lanzarote (Islas Canarias) 2023. Supervised by Dr. María Carmen Lozano Francisco, Dr. María Esther Martín González, Dr. Carolina Castillo Ruiz.

I defended my Final Degree Project in 2015. Its subject was the study of the Quaternary-age fossil site of Camiña on the island of La Gomera (Canary Islands). Among the most important achievements of this period, I would highlight the faunistic characterisation of the palaeoecosystem of that environment, as well as the description of the palaeoassociation of land snails described for that site. In addition, I did my work experience for my degree in Biology at the Museum of Natural Sciences of Tenerife, where I prepared, inventoried, and catalogued the collections of minerals, rocks and fossils. Subsequently, I have also taken a series of specialised training courses and seminars in the field of office automation, GIS data processing, audio-visual editing, English language improvement and innovation management, among others. I have carried out relevant collaborations with the group of Dr. Mª Esther Martín González, curator of the palaeontology area of the Museum of Natural Sciences of Tenerife, in the study of the fossil fauna of the Canary Islands and interpretation of climatic changes at regional and global level. In parallel, together with Dr. Carolina Castillo Ruiz from the University of La Laguna, we research on the fossil fauna of molluscs in the islands from the Neogene to the Quaternary. Since 2017 I have been a predoctoral student at the University of La Laguna under the direction of Dr. Mª del Carmen Lozano Francisco, studying the Neogene bivalves of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
