Abstract

Internet and social networks have become a fundamental role in politics and especially in the democratic. These allow an open dialog with the citizens with the politician and the politician with the citizens, which favors not only a greater role of the citizen in this game, but also that the politician is monitored continuously and questioned by those who represents. Young people, mainly those who vote for the first time, are key during elections as they represent one of the sectors of the population with greater indecision in the intention to vote. In the present, cannot be separated to the young lenguapeople of the Internet and still less of the social networks, for that reason, it is important in this study seeks to learn the opinions of these with regard to politics 2.0 through the image category and use of their representatives. Is presented in the following lines the result of an exploratory study through a quantitative approach, for which a survey was administered to 100 young, (San Luis Potosi - Mexico). The first results presented in this text show the great ignorance of the young people surveyed on politicians and the lack of credibility that represent for them. It also reveals the perception of these with respect to the use of social networking on the part of politicians and the political disillusionment of the young people surveyed.
