Abstract

The transparent corporate communication in municipal entities is an intrinsic requirement to the concept of democracy, so that more and more social sectors demand an agreement on behalf of its representatives regarding this matter. It is paradoxical that while it is increasingly more press for this type of information in digital environments, there is a similar effort that attempt improve tourism communication at municipal portals in tourist destinations. This communication discourses about the need for user data in the CanaryIslands for both: endemic and foreign, can provide of any destination in the archipelago without basic information needs. For that, it is proposed a number of indicators used to measure the quality of data inavailable municipal websites, at the same time that diagnose the improvement in aspects that can influence a better visitor experience.
