This document summarizes the work carried out to evaluate the performance of perovskite solar cells, based on MAPbI3 absorbers, with ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) encapsulations at low temperature, submitted to thermal cycling test established in the standards IEC-61215 for crystalline silicon PV modules and IEC-61646 for thin film PV modules. Three types of samples were studied, those composed of MAPbI3, those composed of MAPbI3 deposited on a compact layer of TTIP, and those composed of MAPbI3, but deposited so that the layer dons not reach the edge of the substrate (aka with setback). The degradation of the samples were characterized by imaging microscope, optical ellipsometry and the electrical performance has been simulated by the SCAPS-1D software. The results indicate the EVA encapsulated samples remained stable after the 200 thermal cycles, keeping the setback samples a 14.84% PCE compared to the 15.48% PCE of the pristine sample.
