Doctor by the Universidad de La Laguna with the thesis From the cello to the bass. Composición, diseño y validación de un nuevo método de enseñanza instrumental 2021. Supervised by Dr. Juan Ramón Coello Martín, Dr. Leandro A. Martin, Dr. Olga María Alegre de la Rosa.

Professor of Didactics of Musical Expression at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, she carries out extensive research in cello and double bass didactics. Among her most outstanding lines of research is the relationship between music and Specific Educational Support Needs. She has participated in numerous international courses and conferences, with a special interest in training music teachers in this area. She holds a PhD in Education, is an Expert in High Abilities, and has two Master's degrees in Cello Performance. Additionally, she has a Master's in Education and ICTs, a Master's in Teacher Training, and the Pedagogical Qualification Course. She combines her research work with teaching and performing and is also the president of the Spanish branch of the European String Teachers Association (ESTA Spain).
